Join us as an IT & Network Engineer and work across both enterprise IT and industrial automation environments — managing day-to-day infrastructure while designing and deploying networks, servers and connected systems that power real-world smart manufacturing projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain company IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, printers, networks, WiFi, internet connectivity and related systems.
Administer user accounts, access controls, VPN, shared drives and IT security to ensure reliable and secure daily operations.
Provide timely technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
Manage IT assets, equipment inventory, procurement, system updates, antivirus protection and backups.
Design, configure and deploy LAN/WAN/VLAN networks for industrial automation and customer projects.
Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks and VPN connections.
Support network architecture and structured connectivity for automation systems such as ASRS, AMR and smart production lines.
Configure and support Windows Servers, virtualization environments and databases for project deployments.
Support deployment and integration of platforms such as WMS, MES, MMS and other industrial software systems.
Enable reliable connectivity between PLCs, machines, sensors, robots, servers and enterprise systems.
Work closely with Software, PLC, Robotics and Engineering teams to support IT/OT integration and end-to-end system delivery.
Support industrial communication technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT and REST API.
Implement and maintain firewalls, VPNs, endpoint protection, backup and disaster recovery measures.
Provide on-site and remote technical support during project deployment, FAT/UAT, commissioning, go-live and post-deployment stabilization.
Maintain accurate network diagrams, system architecture, configurations, asset records and technical documentation.
Support continuous improvement and standardization of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity practices and internal IT SOPs.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, IT Support, Network Engineering, System Administration or a related role.
Experience supporting both office IT infrastructure and project/customer environments is highly advantageous.
Good knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPN, routing and switching.
Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls and wireless networks.
Familiarity with networking and security solutions such as Cisco, Fortinet, Ubiquiti or equivalent.
Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory; basic Linux knowledge is advantageous.
Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
Basic knowledge of databases such as SQL Server or MySQL.
Exposure to industrial automation, manufacturing systems or IT/OT environments is highly advantageous.
Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT or REST API is an advantage.
Exposure to WMS, MES, MMS, ASRS, AMR or other industrial automation systems will be an added advantage.
Good understanding of IT security, firewall, VPN, endpoint protection, backup and disaster recovery practices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose both IT and network-related issues.
Able to balance day-to-day IT operations with project-based technical work.
Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across Software, Engineering, Automation and Project teams.
Organized, hands-on and able to work independently in both office and customer-site environments.
Willing to travel to customer/project sites when required.
