Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement quality control, inspection and assurance processes to ensure products, machines and projects meet customer and quality requirements.
Lead parts inspection, machine QC buy-off and quality verification throughout project execution and before customer delivery.
Establish inspection criteria, quality checklists and acceptance standards for parts, equipment and completed systems.
Guide and train QC personnel to ensure consistent application of inspection procedures and quality standards.
Manage calibration schedules, records and compliance for inspection and measurement equipment.
Partner with Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing and other teams to resolve quality issues and ensure requirements are met throughout project delivery.
Lead investigation of non-conformities and quality issues, including Root Cause Analysis, CAPA and 8D problem-solving.
Prepare and maintain inspection records, quality reports, CAPA/8D reports, NCRs and compliance documentation.
Lead ISO 9001:2015 internal audits and coordinate preparations and follow-up actions for external and certification audits.
Track audit findings, corrective actions and quality issues through to effective closure.
Monitor quality KPIs and trends, identify recurring issues and drive preventive and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure quality records and compliance documentation are properly maintained for traceability and audit readiness.
Promote a strong quality and compliance culture across project and engineering teams.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Automation Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Quality Compliance or related engineering functions.
Experience in industrial automation, machine building, semiconductor manufacturing, warehouse automation, robotics or smart manufacturing is highly advantageous.
Hands-on experience in parts QC inspection and machine/equipment QC buy-off.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements.
Experience conducting internal quality audits and supporting external or certification audits.
Good knowledge of CAPA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), NCR management and problem-solving methodologies.
Able to develop inspection standards, quality checklists, reports and technical documentation.
Familiar with inspection and measurement equipment such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, multimeters and related tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Able to work effectively with Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, suppliers, customers and auditors.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge quality issues and drive corrective actions when required.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Self-driven, organized and able to manage multiple quality priorities in a project-driven engineering environment.
